Yep, from what I can tell the S10 fender flares did indeed come down lower. I have no clue why GM would stop the flare 2 inches above the bottom edge of the fender but they did. The gap ends up only being about an inch, but it should only be about a quarter of an inch.
May 25, 2019 · I think these pics demonstrate that Rubicon take offs (285/70/17) as well as a tad bit bigger tire in size 295/70/17 fill up the wheel wells on the Sport model pretty darn good. IMO a very proportional look. Now on my Rubicon with the higher fender flares, I'm struggling with the gap between the tire and the bottom of the fender flare.
